I am a visual artist working across sculpture and installation. My work explores the tension between vulnerable human voices and uncontrollable forces such as nature and political power. 

Using materials that cannot be fully controlled, I work with processes of change and transformation, finding beauty in their fragility. This approach is grounded in the Japanese aesthetic of mono no aware, an awareness of the beauty and transience of things, and in my background in ikebana, which shapes my understanding of nature. 

With a background in architecture, I also consider how spaces and the lives within them are continuously shaped and erased through cycles of construction, demolition, and broader social change.

私は彫刻やインスタレーションを中心に活動するビジュアルアーティストです。脆弱な人の声と、自然や政治的権力といった制御不能な力との間にある緊張関係を探求しています。

人の手では完全にコントロールできない素材を用い、変化や変容のプロセスに向き合いながら、その中に現れる儚さに美しさを見出します。この姿勢は、「もののあわれ」という日本の美意識、すなわち移ろいゆくものの美しさや儚さへの気づきに根ざしています。また、生け花の背景も、私の自然に対する理解を形成しました。

さらに建築のバックグラウンドを踏まえ、空間やそこに生きる人々の営みが、建設と解体の循環、そしてより大きな社会的変化の中で、どのように形づくられ、また消えていくのかを考察しています。
